Our innovative glass entrance system, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TSA58SL), features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2, Canadian Patent 2,419,706, and European Patent No. EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for commercial and architectural glass doors, this door rail provides a secure, high-strength glass mounting solution for 5/8" tempered glass and other monolithic tempered glass applications.

The Wedge-Lock® system secures the glass by applying downward pressure via two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts. The angled extrusions engage an internal wedge groove in the rail so the assembly pulls the extrusions together, generating exceptionally high clamping force (more than 900 lbs. in our 9" corner rail). That translate to reliable, durable performance across the full 35-3/4" (908 mm) rail length.

After installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: center bolt secures the adjustable slide; outer bolts provide the 1/8" adjustment in or out. All Wedge-Lock® Door Rails include the built-in jamb alignment block; arms and pivots must be ordered separately to meet job requirements.
