CRL 90° Hold-Open Overhead Concealed Door Closer - ADA, End-Load

These CRL Overhead Door Closer Kits (SKU: CRL8960A) include a medium spring-size door closer, mounting clips, a Type "A" end-load arm, and a "DP" adjustable dual-purpose bottom pivot set. The closer body installs into standard 1-3/4" x 4" (44 x 102 mm) or larger extrusions and is available in 90° and 105° hold-open, or no hold-open configurations. Independent dual-action valves control closing and latching speeds for precise door control. Additional spring sizes, hardware options, and overhead concealed accessories are available for custom door closer configurations.

Independent Adjustment Valves
Non-critical valve control allows separate adjustment of closing speed and latching speed for reliable performance on commercial entry doors.

Special Retaining Rings
Retaining rings prevent adjustment valve screws from being backed out of the door closer body, improving serviceability.

NOTE: Install an auxiliary floor or overhead door stop to prevent damage from over-extension of maximum allowable door swing.

ADA Compliance Advisory: A.D.A. Series door closers meet A.D.A. specified opening forces but may not provide adequate spring power to control and close doors under all site conditions or with larger door sizes.

Product Warning:
Closers adjusted to A.D.A. opening forces may not close doors adequately depending on site conditions and door size. Do not use this closer on doors weighing more than 200 lbs (91 kg) or wider than 36" (914 mm).
