Our innovative glass entrance product, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TBS38SL) features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This patented door rail for glass doors secures glass by applying downward pressure through two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, angled wedges and the specially designed door retaining gasket pull the extrusions together to generate extremely high clamping force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail). That translates to even greater holding force across the full-length 35-3/4" (908 mm) door rails for dependable glass retention in commercial storefront and interior glass door applications.

The Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System delivers both secure attachment and fast installation—the fastest door rail installation offered in the industry. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship completely fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After rail installation, simply attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The Adjustable Door Alignment System allows 1/8" (3.2 mm) of adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door; this feature is standard on both top and bottom rails. To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts—the center bolt secures the slide, the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" in or out. The low-profile slide enables pivot placement other than the American Standard setback of 2-3/4" (69.8 mm), allowing fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
