Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4SBS58S) features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This door rail for tempered glass secures panels by applying downward pressure through two aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. Tightening the socket head cap bolts draws the angled extrusions into the rail's wedge groove, generating exceptional clamping force (over 900 lbs. in our 9" corner rail), producing strong, durable retention across the full 35-3/4" door rail.

The Wedge-Lock® glass door rail provides fast installation and reliable performance for commercial glass entrances. Experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes. Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach a door arm or pivot (not included) to the preassembled adjustable door alignment slide.

The standard adjustable door alignment system (top and bottom rails) allows ±1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. Adjustments are made by removing the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center secures the slide and the two outer bolts move the slide in or out. The low-profile slide supports pivots with slotted grooves and can be fabricated for vertically out-of-square openings.
