Designed for high-traffic commercial and public buildings—airports, shopping centers, hospitals, and schools—this Grade 1 door closer provides independent closing and latching speed controls and a standard adjustable backcheck to prevent damage from violent openings.

The optional delayed action feature increases the time a door remains open to facilitate passage and help meet A.D.A. needs; ideal as an ADA delayed action door closer for healthcare and public facilities. The compact closer body uses a common 9-1/16" x 3/4" (230 x 19 mm) mounting template for easy new or retrofit installations.

All PR40 Series closers are UL listed, include parallel arm brackets and mounting hardware for regular, top jamb, or parallel arm applications, and carry a ten-year warranty.
