CRL Foam Glazing Tape (SKU 74418X2GRY) is a closed-cell polyethylene foam glazing tape designed for window and storefront glazing, demountable partitions, louvers, access panels, and other operable or temporary joints. The aggressive acrylic adhesive positions the tape with the slightest pressure and adheres reliably to wood, vinyl, aluminum, and glass. Use as a primary or secondary exterior glazing sealant where glass repositioning is needed before final setting.

The self-shimming, patented cellular foam construction resists water absorption and weathering for a long-lived seal. Joints sealed with CRL Foam Glazing Tape with adhesive on one side can be opened, closed, and repositioned without sticky mess; the non-adhesive face releases cleanly from most surfaces and the tape recovers most of its original thickness after compression.

Installation notes: Maintain a minimum of 30% compression for an effective moisture seal (some product variants require 15% compression—check application). Apply with firm, uniform pressure to a clean, dry surface without stretching (the paper liner indicates stretch). Cut and butt tape corners; do not overlap. Apply a thin bead of approved sealant at intersections after liner removal. Compatible with most sealing and glazing compounds.
