These CRL Overhead Door Closer Kits (SKU: CRL8160GE) include a medium spring-size door closer, mounting clips, Type "S" side-load arm, and your choice of a "DP" adjustable dual-purpose bottom pivot set or "GE" bottom pivot set. The closer features independent, dual-action valves for precise control of closing and latching speeds. Available in both 90Β° and 105Β° hold-open and no-hold-open models. Closer bodies fit into standard 1-3/4" x 4" (44 x 102 mm) or larger extrusions. Additional spring sizes, hardware options, and concealed overhead accessories are available.
Independent Adjustment Valves
Non-critical valve control lets you adjust closing speed and latching speed independently for consistent door performance.
Special Retaining Rings
Retaining rings prevent adjustment valve screws from backing out of the closer body, improving serviceability and safety.
Note: Use an auxiliary floor or overhead door stop to prevent damage from over-extension of the maximum allowable door swing.

This closer is not to be used for doors weighing in excess of 200 lbs.
