These CRL Overhead Door Closer Kits (SKU: CRL8162A) include a medium spring-size door closer, mounting clips, Type "A" end-load arm, and a "DP" adjustable dual-purpose bottom pivot set. The closer body fits standard 1-3/4" x 4" (44 x 102 mm) or larger extrusions. Available in both 90Β° and 105Β° hold-open or no hold-open configurations, the unit is ideal for commercial and storefront doors requiring a center-hung, end-load solution for 1" top rails.
Independent Adjustment Valves
Non-critical valves independently control closing speed and latching speed for precise door operation and compliant closing performance.
Special Retaining Rings
Retaining rings prevent adjustment valve screws from being fully withdrawn from the door closer body, improving durability and serviceability.
Note: Use an auxiliary floor or overhead door stop to prevent damage from exceeding the maximum allowable door swing.
