These CRL Overhead Door Closer Kits (SKU: CRL8160S) include a medium spring size door closer, mounting clips, a Type S side-load arm, and your choice of a DP-adjustable dual-purpose bottom pivot set or GE bottom pivot set. The closer features independent, dual-action valves for precise control of both closing and latching speeds. Available in both 90Β° and 105Β° hold-open or no hold-open models, the closer body fits standard 1-3/4" x 4" (44 x 102 mm) or larger extrusions. Additional spring sizes, hardware options, mounting clips, and overhead concealed door closer accessories are also available.
Independent Adjustment Valves
Non-critical valve control allows separate adjustment of closing speed and latching speed for consistent performance and ADA-compliant door operation.
Special Retaining Rings
Retaining rings prevent adjustment valve screws from being backed out of the door closer body, improving durability and on-site serviceability.
NOTE: An auxiliary floor or overhead door stop is recommended to prevent damage from over-extension of maximum allowable door swing.
