CRL Cardiff Series Pivot Hinges are engineered for 5/16" (8 mm) to 3/8" (10 mm) tempered safety glass and offer flexible mounting options for shower enclosures. Pivot-style hinges carry most of the weight at the bottom and can be inset from the wall to provide clearance for towel bars and other projections. Cardiff hinges are self-centering with four springs for maximum retention strength. Optional 5° pre-set pivot pin sets (sold separately) let you alter the closing position by 5° and can be installed before or after hinge installation. The Cardiff Series is compatible with the Deluxe Header System for enclosures that do not extend to the ceiling.

NOTE: Optional 5° Pivot Pin Set (for Cardiff, Prima, Rondo, and Shell Series) sold as a set of two (top and bottom). Not included with hinge purchase.

Performance using two hinges: With 5/16" or 3/8" glass (8 or 10 mm), two hinges support up to 100 lbs. (45 kg) with a maximum door width of 31" (787 mm).
