CRL Cardiff Series Pivot Hinges (SKU: CAR07SB) are heavy-duty brass pivot hinges engineered for tempered glass shower doors. Ideal for frameless and semi-frameless shower enclosures, these pivot hinges support 5/16" to 3/8" (8–10 mm) tempered safety glass and offer greater design flexibility by carrying most of the door weight at the bottom and allowing the door to be inset from the wall for clearance of towel bars and other projections. The Cardiff Series is self-centering (within 15° of closed position), provides full hinge rotation, and reduces the number of glass cut-outs compared to standard side-mount glass-to-glass hinges.

NOTE: Optional 5° pre-set pivot pin sets (sold separately, set of two) allow altering the closing position by 5°. They can be installed before or after hinge installation. Not included with hinge purchase.

Capacity: Using two hinges with 5/16" or 3/8" glass, the hinge will hold up to 100 lbs (45 kg) with a maximum door width of 31" (787 mm).
