CRL Cardiff Series Pivot Hinges (SKU: CAR07BN) are engineered for glass shower doors and offer versatile top-or-bottom mount installation for 5/16" (8 mm) to 3/8" (10 mm) tempered safety glass. These solid-brass Cardiff pivot hinges are self-centering with four springs for maximum retention strength and are a durable choice for glass shower door hardware. Pivot mounting carries most of the door weight at the bottom and can be inset from the wall to provide clearance for towel bars and other projections—making them an excellent pivot hinge option for frameless and semi-frameless glass shower enclosures. Optional 5º pre-set pivot pin sets (sold separately) let you alter the door closing position by 5º; they can be installed before or retrofitted after hinge installation. The Cardiff Series also adapts to the Deluxe Header System for enclosures that do not extend to the ceiling.

Performance with Two Hinges: Using two hinges with 5/16" or 3/8" glass (8 or 10 mm), the hinge will hold up to 100 lbs. (45 kg) with a maximum door width of 31" (787 mm).
