CRL Prima Series Pivot Hinges (SKU: PPH070RB) are engineered for frameless shower doors using 5/16" to 3/8" (8–10 mm) tempered safety glass. These solid-brass pivot hinges offer versatile mounting (top or bottom) and an attached U-clamp that matches the hinge profile for a clean, consistent look—an advantage over traditional header systems. Prima pivots carry most of the door weight at the bottom, can be inset from the wall to allow clearance for towel bars and protrusions, and are self-centering with four internal springs for maximum retention strength.

Optional Cat. No. P1VP1N 5° pre-set pivot pin sets (sold separately) allow the door closing position to be altered by 5°. Pivot pins can be installed before or retrofitted after installation; pre-set 5° hinge models are available from stock.

Using two hinges with 5/16"–3/8" glass, each hinge assembly will support up to 100 lbs. (45 kg) with a maximum door width of 31" (787 mm).
