An innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR6SPB12C) uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) to secure monolithic tempered glass at the bottom of the rail. Two aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar, tightened with socket head cap bolts, create wedge action that clamps the glass—generating significant holding force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail). This design delivers a secure, long-lasting door rail for commercial glass doors and storefront entrances.

The Wedge-Lock® system provides the fastest installation time among door rails. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the pre-assembled adjustable door alignment slide. The Adjustable Door Alignment System allows ±1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door—standard on both top and bottom rails—helpful for vertically out-of-square openings.

To adjust the door after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in or out. The low-profile slide and slotted pivot grooves permit non-standard setback positions for custom commercial glass door installations.
