An innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System uses the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System to clamp the glass from the bottom with two aluminum retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail and force the retaining extrusions together. Combined with the door retaining gasket, the 9" (228.6 mm) corner rail creates more than 900 lbs. of clamping force (approximately 100 lbs. per inch); full-length rails generate proportionally greater holding force. This design delivers a secure glass attachment plus exceptionally fast installation for contractors and glazing professionals.

CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship completely fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the preassembled adjustable door alignment slide. The adjustable door alignment system lets you shift the door 1/8" (3.2 mm) toward or away from the jamb without removing the door—standard on both top and bottom rails.

To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt locks the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in or out. The low-profile adjustable slide allows pivots with slotted grooves to be positioned off the American Standard Setback of 2-3/4" (69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
