  • Use monolithic tempered glass only — not for laminated glass

The CRL Sidelite Mounted Transom Patch (SKU: PH40PS) supports a transom from a sidelite glass panel and includes an INT300 insert for mounting a door with the CRL PH20A or PH21A top door patch fitting. The insert can be moved to the non-hinged side for double-swing door applications. Add an INT306 transom patch door stop insert to create a one-way door, or install an INT305 keeper insert for use with the AMR205 lock in top-of-door installations. These features make the PH40PS ideal for frameless glass transom and sidelite systems where reliable transom support and flexible door configurations are required.


If the transom weight exceeds 100 lbs. (45.4 kg), the transom must be supported from the ceiling to prevent patch slippage. Use Cat. No. B5BC Smoke Baffle Channel or PH94 patch fittings for additional support. Contact our Technical Sales Department for application assistance.
