Overview
- Works with Both 2-3/4" and 2-9/16" (70 and 65 mm) pivot setback door patch fittings
- For 3/8" or 1/2" (10 or 12 mm) monolithic tempered glass
- Designed for sidelite-mounted transom support; not for laminated glass
The CRL Sidelite Mounted Transom Patch (SKU: PH40A) supports a transom from a sidelite glass panel and includes an INT300 Insert for mounting with CRL PH20A or PH21A top door patch fittings. The insert can be positioned on the non-hinged side for a double-swing door. Use the INT306 Transom Patch Door Stop Insert to create a one-way door, or install the INT305 Keeper Insert for use with an AMR205 lock when installing at the top of a door.
Capacity & installation notes: If transom weight exceeds 100 lbs. (45.4 kg), support the transom from the ceiling to prevent patch slip. For heavier loads use Cat. No. B5BC Smoke Baffle Channel or PH94 Patch Fittings. Contact our Technical Sales Department for support with heavy transom applications.
Glass fabrication required:
Three 7/8" (25 mm) diameter holes and corner notch in the glass.
