Norton® 5700 Series — LEO® Low-Energy Power Door Operator (SKU: LE05741DU)

LEO® is a next-generation low-energy ADA power door operator designed for fast installation and quiet, reliable operation. The patented LEO® system installs in minutes and uses three main components: inverter, motor, and Norton 1601 closer body. Ideal for offices, retirement facilities, schools, and churches where ADA-assist openings and low noise are priorities.

Key differentiators: LEO® functions as a standard door closer when opened manually—providing minimal resistance and preventing motor back-drive—so the 1601 closer maintains closing efficiency. In a power outage the door still closes by the closer's spring force. LEO® supports wall switch, radio frequency device, or motion sensor activation and is available for both push- and pull-side mounting.

Important: This is a low-energy power operator intended for ADA assist openings only; not for full-time automatic operation.
