Our CRL Low Profile Door Rail measures 2-5/16" (59 mm) tall by 1-1/2" (38 mm) wide and features the patented Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Rails come complete with end caps, installation instructions, and adjustment wrenches—ready to install for frameless glass doors and other commercial glass door applications.

The Wedge-Lock® system provides a secure glass attachment and among the fastest installation times in the industry—experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes. Rails ship fully fabricated with end caps installed; after mounting the rail you only need to attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The built-in Adjustable Door Alignment System allows ±1/8" (3 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. Adjustment access is simple: remove the end cap to reveal three socket head cap bolts—the center bolt secures the slide, the outer bolts adjust it. The low-profile slide permits pivot placement other than the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.

Other Wedge-Lock® advantages: models accept 3/8" to 3/4" (10 to 19 mm) glass; a rigid single-component housing that resists shift and long-term misalignment; internal components remain installed during installation; and durable glass-securing pads designed for extreme environments.

NOTE: All Wedge-Lock® Door Rails include the built-in jamb alignment block. Arms, pivots, and pivot inserts (e.g., 1NT701, 1NT703, 1NT704) are sold separately to meet job requirements.
