This Rixson® Model 28 center-hung floor mounted door closer delivers durable, high-efficiency door control for heavy commercial doors. Because the bottom arm links directly to the floor closer spindle, this center-hung design increases closing efficiency compared with surface or overhead concealed closers. Ideal as a center-hung floor closer for 350 lb doors and 48" wide openings, it supports both exterior and interior applications.
Standard features include selective on/off hold-open, built-in positive dead stop, and separate independent valves for closing, latch and backcheck adjustments—making it a reliable choice for commercial door control and heavy-duty door closing solutions.
