Our CRL Low Profile Door Rail (SKU: DR2SBS12P) measures 2-5/16" (59 mm) tall by 1-1/2" (38 mm) wide and incorporates the patented Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Rails come complete with End Caps, installation instructions and adjustment wrenches for fast, ready-to-install low profile glass door systems.

The Wedge-Lock® system secures 1/2" (12 mm) monolithic tempered glass with a single-component, rigid housing that resists shifting or loss of adjustment over time. Its design eliminates the need to remove internal components before installation and uses durable glass securing pads suitable for extreme environments. Experienced installers can prepare a door in less than ten minutes—making this one of the fastest door rail systems for commercial glass doors and storefront applications.

CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails are fabricated complete with End Caps and a preassembled Adjustable Door Alignment Slide. The alignment system (standard on top and bottom rails) allows 1/8" (3 mm) in/out adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. After installation, remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts adjust ±1/8" (3 mm). The low-profile slide also permits pivot placement other than the American Standard Setback of 2-3/4" (69.8 mm), allowing fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
