Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TBL34S), is a high-performance glass door rail system engineered for commercial and architectural glass doors. The exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) applies downward pressure via two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions wedge together in the rail groove and, along with a specially designed door-retaining gasket, generate very high clamping force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail). This design secures monolithic tempered glass and delivers exceptional long-term stability for full-length 35-3/4" door rails.

The Wedge-Lock® system is optimized for fast installation and reliable performance. Rails come fully fabricated, with End Caps installed and the Adjustable Door Alignment Slide pre-assembled. Installers can prepare a door for hanging in minutes. The Adjustable Door Alignment System (standard on top and bottom rails) allows up to 1/8" (3.2 mm) in/out adjustment without removing the door; adjustments are made by removing the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts (center bolt secures the slide; outer bolts adjust position).
