Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4SBL38S) uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905; 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This glass door rail for commercial entrances secures glass by applying downward pressure with two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is drawn down with socket-head cap bolts, the angled extrusion bottoms engage an angled groove in the rail to generate very high clamp force — over 900 lbs. in the 9" (228.6 mm) corner rail — delivering a robust, durable hold across the full-length 35-3/4" (908 mm) door rails.

The Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System not only ensures a secure attachment but also provides one of the fastest installations in the industry for a door rail system. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the preassembled adjustable door alignment slide.

The Adjustable Door Alignment System permits 1/8" (3 mm) in/out adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door — standard on both top and bottom rails. To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket-head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts provide the 1/8" (3 mm) micro-adjustment. The low-profile slide accepts pivots with slotted grooves and can be fabricated for vertically out-of-square openings.
