Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4SBS34SL), features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for tempered glass storefronts and commercial glass doors, the Wedge-Lock® system secures glass by applying downward pressure through two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail to create high clamping force (over 900 lbs. in a 9" corner rail), delivering exceptional structural holding along the full 35-3/4" (908 mm) door rail length.

The Wedge-Lock® Door Rail offers fast installation for commercial frameless glass doors and storefronts—experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes. Rails ship fully fabricated with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach door arms or pivots (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail. The Adjustable Door Alignment System allows ±1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door; this feature is standard on both top and bottom rails.

To fine-tune the door after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt locks the slide, and the two outer bolts adjust the slide ±1/8" (3.2 mm). The low-profile adjustable slide lets pivots with slotted grooves be positioned away from the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
