Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2, Canadian Patent 2,419,706, and European Patent No. EP 1 404 939 B1). This door rail for tempered glass doors secures glass by applying downward pressure through two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail, creating high retention force in the corner and full-length rails—delivering a secure, durable glass-to-rail connection for commercial glass doors.

The Wedge-Lock® system offers faster installation than typical door rails. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship completely fabricated with end caps installed and include an adjustable door alignment slide, allowing 1/8" (3.2 mm) in/out adjustment without removing the door—standard on both top and bottom rails.

To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the adjustable slide; the two outer bolts provide the 1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment. The low-profile slide accommodates pivots with slotted grooves and can be used in vertically out-of-square openings.

NOTE: All Wedge-Lock® Door Rails include a built-in jamb alignment block; arms and pivots must be ordered separately to meet specific job requirements.
