The CRL Pinnacle Hinge (SKU: P1N580CH) is a solid-brass shower hinge designed for frameless glass shower doors. Compared to the Geneva Series, Pinnacle adds radius corners and beveled edges for a sleek, upscale appearance. These premium, corrosion-resistant hinges accept 5/16" (8 mm) to 1/2" (12 mm) thick tempered safety glass and are self-centering within 15° of the closed position. Durable stainless-steel plunger tips, pins, and springs provide reliable door closure and long service life. The Pinnacle features the reversible 5° pivot pin used across our Geneva, Cathedral, Roman, Ultimate, and Elite series—ideal for precision shower door alignment. A custom pivot pin is available for off-angle installations.

STANDARD REVERSIBLE PIVOT PIN:

Each Pinnacle hinge contains a reversible pivot pin with one side marked 90° and the opposite side marked 85°. Standard models ship with the 90° side active; Pre-Set models ship with the 85° side active for a tighter closure into the shower. Rotate the pin (do not flip) to switch the active angle.

CUSTOM PIVOT PIN:

Custom pivot pins are available for off-angle walls (specify required closing angle up to 45°) when the standard 5° adjustment is insufficient for door alignment.

Load Capacity:

Using two hinges with 5/16"–1/2" (8–12 mm) glass: holds up to 80 lbs. (36 kg), max door width 28" (711 mm).
Using three hinges with 5/16"–1/2" (8–12 mm) glass: holds up to 120 lbs. (54 kg), max door width 32" (813 mm).
