An innovative glass door rail engineered for security and fast installation, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR6SPS12S) uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 & 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). The Wedge-Lock design applies downward pressure via two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage the door rail wedge to generate very high clamping force (more than 900 lbs. in our 9" corner rail), producing a reliable, long-lasting glass-to-rail attachment.

The Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System provides industry-leading installation speed—experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes. Rails ship fully fabricated and ready to install with end caps pre-installed. After rail installation, simply attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide that ships assembled in the rail.

The Adjustable Door Alignment System allows ±1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb on both top and bottom rails without removing the door. End-cap access reveals three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the outer bolts adjust the slide in or out. The low-profile slide lets pivots be positioned off the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
