An innovative commercial glass door solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR6SSA12S) uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) to secure the glass from the bottom of the rail. Two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions compress against the glass via a stainless steel bar pulled down with socket head cap bolts. The angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail, creating a powerful wedge action (over 900 lbs. force in the 9" corner rail) for secure, durable retention—ideal for commercial glass entrance systems and tempered glass door rails.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers fast installation time—the fastest door rail installation in the industry. CRL rails come fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach your door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail. The adjustable alignment system allows +/-1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door; this feature is standard on both top and bottom rails.

To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in or out. The low-profile adjustable slide lets pivots with slotted grooves be positioned other than the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
