CRL Low Profile Door Rail — 2-5/16" (59 mm) high by 1-1/2" (38 mm) wide — is a pre-fabricated, ready-to-install low profile door rail designed for 1/2" (12 mm) monolithic tempered glass. It features the patented Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) for fast, secure glass attachment and long-term reliability.

Rails include End Caps, installation instructions, and adjustment wrenches. The Wedge-Lock® system provides the fastest installation time in the industry — experienced installers can prepare a door for hanging in under ten minutes. After installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The built-in Adjustable Door Alignment System (standard on both top and bottom rails) lets you adjust the door up to 1/8" (3 mm) toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. To access adjustments, remove the End Cap to reveal three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide in or out 1/8" (3 mm). The low-profile slide supports pivots with slotted grooves and can be fabricated for vertically out-of-square openings.

Other advantages: models accept 3/8" to 3/4" (10 to 19 mm) glass; single-component rigid housing resists shifting or loss of adjustment; internal components remain installed during fit-up; and durable glass securing pads perform well in extreme environments. All rails feature the built-in jamb alignment block; arms and pivots are ordered separately.
