Description
Overview
- For 5/16" to 1/2" (8 to 12 mm) thick glass
- Secures fixed glass panels in frameless shower enclosures
- Solid brass construction
- Provides a clean, near "all-glass" appearance compared to traditional U-channel
- Glass fabrication required to accommodate clamps
- Use monolithic tempered glass
CRL Standard Fixed Panel U-Clamps (SKU: UC77SB) mount directly to wall, ceiling, or floor to secure vertical fixed glass panels in frameless shower installations. Clearance between glass and wall is 5/32" to 3/16" (4 to 5 mm); clear silicone may be used to seal the gap for a water-resistant, finished look.
Our solid brass Traditional Glass Clamps are designed specifically for contemporary frameless shower enclosures, offering a cleaner aesthetic than U-channel while maintaining strong, durable support. Key differentiators: solid brass materials, multiple finish options to match CRL shower door hinges, and included mounting screws plus one set of clear gaskets. Extra clear gaskets (Cat. No. UCG77) available separately.
