The optional delayed action feature provides extended open time to facilitate passage and help meet A.D.A. requirements in healthcare facilities, hospitals, nursing homes, and other public buildings (ADA-compliant delayed action door closer applications).

PR40 Series closers have a compact body and use a common 9-1/16" x 3/4" (230 x 19 mm) mounting hole template, making them ideal for both new construction and retrofit applications. Each closer includes parallel arm brackets and mounting hardware for regular, top jamb, or parallel arm installations. Optional accessories such as drop plates and hold-open arms are available for specialized installations.
