CRL Cardiff Series Pivot Hinges are engineered for 5/16" (8 mm) to 3/8" (10 mm) tempered safety glass and expand application possibilities for frameless and semi-frameless shower enclosures. Pivot-style hinges carry most of the door weight at the bottom and can be inset from the wall to provide clearance for towel bars and other projections—ideal for right-hand offset bracket wall mount installations. Cardiff hinges are self-centering with four springs for superior retention strength and full rotation swing. Optional 5º pre-set pivot pin sets (sold separately) let you alter the closing position by 5º and can be installed before or retrofitted after installation. The Cardiff Series is compatible with CRL’s Deluxe Header System for enclosures that do not extend to the ceiling.

Using two hinges: With 5/16" or 3/8" glass (8 or 10 mm), two hinges support up to 100 lbs (45 kg) with a maximum door width of 31" (787 mm).
