CRL Prima Series Pivot Hinges (SKU: PPH010RB) are engineered for 5/16" to 3/8" (8–10 mm) tempered safety glass and expand mounting options for glass shower doors and frameless shower enclosures. As a bottom-weighted pivot hinge, Prima hinges can be inset from the wall to provide clearance for towel bars and other projections—an important advantage for custom glass shower installations. These solid-brass pivot hinges are self-centering with four internal springs for strong retention and reliable self-closing performance when within 15° of the closed position. Adaptability & Header Systems: The PPH01 model adapts to the Deluxe Header System for partial-height enclosures; the PPH06 model is compatible only with the EZ-Adjust Header System (requires HAB01 Adaptor Block—sold separately). Optional Cat. No. P1VP1N 5° pre-set pivot pin sets can be ordered separately or retrofitted after installation. Pre-set 5° hinge models are available from stock.

Using Two Hinges: When used with two hinges on 5/16"–3/8" (8–10 mm) glass, each hinge set will support doors up to 100 lbs (45 kg) and up to 31" (787 mm) wide—useful for heavy frameless glass shower doors.
