CRL Prima Series Pivot Hinges (SKU: PPH01BN) are heavy-duty, solid-brass pivot hinges engineered for tempered glass shower doors. Designed for 5/16" to 3/8" (8–10 mm) tempered safety glass, these top-or-bottom mount shower pivot hinges reduce required glass cut-outs versus standard side-mount glass-to-glass hinges and allow inset installation for clearance of towel bars and other projections. The Prima Series is self-centering with four internal springs for reliable closing within 15° of the closed position, and features full rotation swing for wide opening clearance. PPH01 can be mounted floor-to-ceiling or floor-to-header and is adaptable to CRL’s Deluxe Header System for partial-height enclosures.

Optional 5° Pivot Pin Set (Cat. No. P1VP1N): Pre-set 5° pivot pin sets adjust the door closing position by 5° and can be installed before or retrofitted after installation. Sold as a top-and-bottom set. Not included with hinge purchase. Pre-set 5° hinge models are also available from stock.

Performance using two hinges: For 5/16"–3/8" (8–10 mm) glass, two hinges support up to 100 lbs (45 kg) with a maximum door width of 31" (787 mm).
