Our glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TPS58S), uses the exclusive patented Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905; 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for tempered glass doors, this wedge-action system secures glass by applying downward pressure via two aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a stainless steel flat bar tightened with socket head cap bolts. The angled extrusions seat into an angled groove in the rail, creating high clamping force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail) for exceptional hold along the full 35-3/4" (908 mm) rail.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers fast, reliable installation for commercial tempered glass door rails. Fully fabricated and shipped ready-to-install with end caps installed, rails require only attachment of the door arm or pivot (not included) to the preassembled adjustable door alignment slide. The Adjustable Door Alignment System provides ±1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb on both top and bottom rails—no door removal required.

Access to adjustments is simple: remove the end cap to reveal three socket head cap bolts. The center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in or out. The low-profile slide allows pivots with slotted grooves to be positioned away from the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
