Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 & 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This wedge-driven system applies downward pressure via two aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a stainless steel bar, pulling the angled extrusions together to clamp the glass. The result: extremely high holding force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail) and reliable, long-lasting performance for frameless and storefront glass doors.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers fast installations—experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes. Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, simply attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail. The adjustable slide permits 1/8" (3.2 mm) in/out adjustment without removing the door, standard on both top and bottom rails.

To fine-tune the alignment after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in or out. The low-profile slide allows pivot placement other than the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
