Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU DR4TDU12PL), features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This patented wedge action secures the glass by applying downward pressure through two aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail and draw the components together, creating exceptional clamping force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" / 228.6 mm corner rail). This robust design delivers long-term rigidity and superior glass retention for commercial glass doors and storefront systems.

The Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System offers more than secure attachment — it provides one of the fastest install times in the industry. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship completely fabricated and ready-to-install with End Caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the factory-assembled adjustable door alignment slide.

The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System lets you adjust the door 1/8" (3.2 mm) toward or away from the jamb without removing the door; this feature is standard on both top and bottom rails. To make post-install adjustments, remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide, and the two outer bolts adjust the slide ±1/8" (3.2 mm). The low-profile slide allows pivot placement other than the American Standard 2-3/4" (69.8 mm) setback, enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
