CRL Vienna Hinges (SKU: V1E580MBL) are engineered for wider, heavier shower doors when traditional hinges lack strength. Solid brass construction and twin internal steel pins provide two mounting template options: leave both pins in place for compatibility with CRL "mouse‑ears" cut-outs, or remove the pins for increased adjustability and fit with CRL rectangular (square-corner) cut-outs—and in some cases competitive rectangular cut-outs. These features make the Vienna Hinge ideal as a heavy-duty shower door hinge for frameless and semi-frameless glass doors. Standard Reversible Pivot Pin: Each hinge contains a reversible pivot pin with one side marked 90° (standard) and the opposite side marked 85° for a 5° tighter closure into the shower interior. Pins can be rotated (not flipped) to select the desired pre-set closing position. Custom Pivot Pin: Custom pivot pins are available for off-angle installations (specify required angle up to 45°) when the standard 5° adjustment does not achieve the needed door closing position. Load Capacity: Using two hinges with 3/8"–1/2" (10–12 mm) glass: holds up to 110 lbs (50 kg) with a maximum door width of 36" (914 mm). Using three hinges with 3/8"–1/2" (10–12 mm) glass: holds up to 140 lbs (63 kg) with a maximum door width of 36" (914 mm).
