CRL Cardiff Series Pivot Hinges (SKU: CAR01BR) are precision brass pivot hinges engineered for 5/16" (8 mm) to 3/8" (10 mm) tempered safety glass. Ideal for glass shower doors and frameless shower enclosures, these shower door pivot hinges provide flexible installation options—floor-and-ceiling, floor-and-header, or floor-and-rail—reducing visible hardware and required glass cut-outs compared with standard side-mount glass-to-glass hinges. Cardiff hinges are self-centering with four springs for strong retention and carry the majority of the door weight on the bottom, allowing inset mounting that preserves clearance for towel bars and other projections. Optional 5° pre-set pivot pin sets are available separately for slight door-closing position adjustment. The series is adaptable to the Deluxe Header System (HAB01 Adaptor Block sold separately).

NOTE: Optional 5° Pivot Pin Set (for Cardiff, Prima, Rondo, and Shell Series) adjusts door closing by 5°. Can be installed before or retrofitted after hinge installation. Sold as a set of two (top and bottom). Not included with hinge purchase.

Performance: Using two hinges with 5/16" or 3/8" glass, each hinge system will hold up to 100 lbs. (45 kg) with a maximum supported door width of 31" (787 mm).
