CRL Cardiff Series Pivot Hinges are precision pivot shower door hinges designed for 5/16" (8 mm) to 3/8" (10 mm) tempered safety glass. These solid brass pivot hinges carry most of the weight at the bottom, can be inset from the wall to clear towel bars or projections, and are self-centering with four springs for maximum retention strength. The Cardiff Series is adaptable to CRL’s Deluxe Header System for shower enclosures that do not extend to the ceiling (HAB01 Adaptor Block ordered separately). Optional 5º Pre-Set Pivot Pin Sets (sold separately) let you alter the closing position by 5º and can be installed before or retrofitted after installation.

NOTE: Optional 5º Pivot Pin Set (for Cardiff, Prima, Rondo, and Shell Series) — sold as a set of two (top and bottom). Not included with hinge purchase.

Capacity: Using two hinges with 5/16" or 3/8" glass (8 or 10 mm), the hinge will hold up to 100 lbs. (45 kg) with a maximum door width of 31" (787 mm).
