Our innovative glass entrance product, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). The Wedge-Lock® system secures glass by applying downward pressure with two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions clamped by a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts the angled extrusions wedge together in the rail’s angled groove, producing very high retention force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail).

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers a secure, long-lasting glass attachment and the fastest installation time of any comparable door rail system. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails come completely fabricated and ready to install with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

Adjustable Door Alignment Slide: Standard on both top and bottom rails. Allows +/- 1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. Access adjustments by removing the end cap to reveal three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt locks the slide; the two outer bolts adjust it in or out. Low-profile slide accepts pivots with slotted grooves and can be fabricated for vertically out-of-square openings.
