Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4SPB12S), uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). The design secures glass by applying downward pressure with two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the door rail, creating high clamping force—more than 900 lbs. in the 9" (228.6 mm) corner rail—resulting in robust, continuous glass retention along the full 35-3/4" (908 mm) rail length.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers fast installations and dependable long-term performance. Experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes. Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After rail mounting, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the preassembled adjustable door alignment slide.

The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System (top and bottom rails) allows ±1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts provide the 1/8" adjustment. The low-profile slide permits pivot placement other than the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
