The CRL Geneva Series professional hinges (SKU: GEN5450RB) fit 5/16" (8 mm) to 1/2" (12 mm) tempered safety glass and are ideal as a Geneva Series shower door hinge or brass shower hinge for frameless glass enclosures. Six styles provide design flexibility: three Wall Mount and three Glass-to-Glass models. Geneva hinges are self-centering and include a reversible 5° pivot pin; custom pivot pins are available for off-angle installations. All moving parts (pins and springs) are stainless steel; bodies are solid brass.

Standard Reversible Pivot Pin: Each hinge includes a reversible pivot pin marked 90° on one side and 85° on the other. Standard models ship with the 90° side activated. Offset models ship pre-set to 85° for a 5° tighter closure into the shower interior. Rotate the pin (do not flip) to change the activated side.

Using two hinges with 8–12 mm glass, the hinge will hold up to 80 lbs. (36 kg) with a maximum door width of 28" (711 mm). Using three hinges with 8–12 mm glass, the hinge will hold up to 120 lbs. (54 kg) with a maximum door width of 32" (813 mm).

Custom Pivot Pin: Custom pivot pins (Cat. No. GENP1N) are available for off-angle installations up to 45°. If the standard 5° reversible pin does not provide the desired closing position, specify the required angle. Note: using a custom pivot pin may affect glass sizes and enclosure aesthetics—contact Technical Sales Shower Door Department for assistance.
