The CRL Pinnacle Hinge (SKU: P1N180MBL) is a radius-corner, beveled-edge alternative to the Geneva Series—designed for a sleek, modern look on frameless shower doors. Pinnacle hinges accommodate 5/16" (8 mm) to 1/2" (12 mm) tempered safety glass and are self-centering when within 15° of the closed position. Constructed of solid brass with stainless steel plunger tips, pins, and springs, these hinges deliver long service life and reliable door closure. The Pinnacle includes the reversible 5° pivot pin used across Geneva, Cathedral, Roman, Ultimate, and Elite Series; custom pivot pins up to 45° are available for off-angle installations.

STANDARD REVERSIBLE PIVOT PIN:

Each Pinnacle hinge contains a reversible pivot pin: one side marked 90° (standard) and the opposite side marked 85° (5° tighter closure). Pins can be rotated (not flipped) to switch active angle. Pre-set models ship with the 85° side activated for tighter closure into the shower interior.

CUSTOM PIVOT PIN:

Custom pivot pins are available for off-angle installations (specify required angle up to 45° when standard pin adjustment is insufficient).

Load Capacity:

Using two hinges with 8–12 mm glass: holds up to 80 lbs (36 kg), maximum door width 28" (711 mm).

Using three hinges with 8–12 mm glass: holds up to 120 lbs (54 kg), maximum door width 32" (813 mm).
