The CRL Geneva Series professional hinge (SKU: GEN580CH) fits 5/16" (8 mm) to 1/2" (12 mm) tempered safety glass and includes six style options for design flexibility—three Wall Mount and three Glass-to-Glass types. Geneva Hinges are self-centering and include a reversible 5° pivot pin; custom pivot pins are available for off-angle installations. Constructed from solid brass with stainless steel pins and springs for corrosion resistance—an ideal choice for shower door hinges and premium glass door hardware.


Standard Reversible Pivot Pin: Each hinge contains a reversible pivot pin with one side marked 90° and the opposite side marked 85° (5° tighter closure). Standard models ship with the 90° side active; Offset/Pre-Set models ship with the 85° side active. The pin can be rotated to change the active angle.

Custom Pivot Pin: Custom Pivot Pins (Cat. No. GENP1N) are available to accommodate off-angle installations up to 45°. If the 5° reversible pin does not provide the desired closing position, specify the required angle when ordering. Using a custom pivot pin may affect glass sizes and enclosure aesthetics—contact Technical Sales Shower Door Department for assistance.

Using two hinges with 8–12 mm glass, a door weight up to 80 lbs. (36 kg) is supported with a maximum door width of 28" (711 mm).

Using three hinges with 8–12 mm glass, a door weight up to 120 lbs. (54 kg) is supported with a maximum door width of 32" (813 mm).
