CRL Cardiff Series Pivot Hinges (SKU: CAR01SB) are engineered for 5/16" (8 mm) to 3/8" (10 mm) tempered safety glass and offer versatile mounting for shower door applications. These shower door pivot hinges carry most of the load at the bottom, can be inset from the wall to provide clearance for towel bars and projections, and reduce the number of cut-outs compared with standard side-mount glass-to-glass hinges. Cardiff pivots are self-centering with four internal springs for strong retention. Optional 5º pre-set pivot pin sets are available to change the door closing position by 5º. The series adapts to CRL’s Deluxe Header System for enclosures that do not extend to the ceiling (HAB01 adaptor block sold separately).

NOTE: Optional 5º Pivot Pin Set (compatible with Cardiff, Prima, Rondo, and Shell Series). Pivot pin sets alter the closing position by 5º and can be installed before or after hinge installation. Sold as a set of two (top and bottom); not included with hinge purchase.

Using two hinges with 5/16" or 3/8" glass (8 or 10 mm) supports up to 100 lbs. (45 kg) with a maximum door width of 31" (787 mm).
