The CRL Geneva Series professional hinges (SKU: GEN180BBRZ) fit 5/16" (8 mm) to 1/2" (12 mm) tempered safety glass. Six styles provide design flexibility: three Wall Mount and three Glass-to-Glass types. Constructed from solid brass with stainless steel pins and springs, Geneva Hinges are a durable, premium choice for glass shower doors and frameless shower enclosures.


Standard Reversible Pivot Pin: Each Geneva hinge contains a reversible pivot pin with two settings: one side marked 90° (standard closing) and the other marked 85° (5° tighter closure into the shower interior). Standard models ship with the 90° side activated; offset models ship pre-set to 85°. The pin can be rotated (not flipped) to change the active side.

Using two hinges with 5/16"–1/2" (8–12 mm) glass, each hinge set will hold up to 80 lb (36 kg) with a maximum door width of 28" (711 mm). Using three hinges increases capacity to 120 lb (54 kg) with a maximum door width of 32" (813 mm).

Custom Pivot Pin: Custom pivot pins (Cat. No. GENP1N) are available for off-angle installations up to 45°. If the standard 5° reversible pin does not achieve the desired closing position, specify the required angle and contact our Technical Sales Shower Door Department. Note: glass dimensions and enclosure aesthetics may be affected when using a custom pivot pin.
