The CRL Geneva Series professional hinge (SKU: GEN180SB) fits 5/16" (8 mm) to 1/2" (12 mm) tempered safety glass and offers design flexibility with six styles: three Wall Mount and three Glass-to-Glass types. Geneva Hinges are solid brass with stainless steel pins and springs, are self-centering, and include a Reversible 5° Pivot Pin. Custom pivot pins are available for off-angle installations. These hinges are ideal as a shower door hinge for 8mm to 12mm glass and for frameless glass shower enclosures where smooth self-centering operation is required.

Standard Reversible Pivot Pin: Each hinge includes a reversible pivot pin marked 90° (standard factory set) and 85° (5° tighter closure). Rotate the pin (do not flip) to change between settings. Offset models ship pre-set to 85° for a tighter closure into the shower interior.

Using two hinges with 5/16"–1/2" (8–12 mm) glass: holds up to 80 lbs. (36 kg) with a maximum door width of 28" (711 mm).

Using three hinges with 5/16"–1/2" (8–12 mm) glass: holds up to 120 lbs. (54 kg) with a maximum door width of 32" (813 mm).

Custom Pivot Pin: Custom Pivot Pins (Cat. No. GENP1N) are available up to 45° for off-angle installations. If the reversible 5° pin does not achieve the desired closing position, specify the angle needed and contact Technical Sales Shower Door Department. Note: glass dimensions and enclosure aesthetics may be affected when using a custom pin.
