The CRL Geneva Series professional hinges (SKU: GEN044BN) fit 5/16" (8 mm) to 1/2" (12 mm) tempered safety glass and are offered in six styles for design flexibility: three Wall Mount and three Glass-to-Glass types. These solid brass shower door hinges feature stainless-steel pins and springs, a self-centering action, and a reversible 5 Degree pivot pin for adjustable closing performance. Each Geneva hinge includes a reversible pivot pin marked 90° on one side and 85° on the other. Standard models ship with the 90° side active; Pre-Set models are factory-set to 85° for a 5° tighter closure into the shower interior. The pivot pin can be rotated to switch sides (do not flip upside down).

Custom Pivot Pin: Custom Pivot Pins (Cat. No. GENP1N) are available for off-angle installations up to 45°. If the standard 5° reversible pin does not achieve the desired closing position, specify the custom angle when ordering. Note: using a custom pivot pin may affect glass sizes and enclosure aesthetics; contact our Technical Sales Shower Door Department for assistance.

Performance: using two hinges with 5/16"–1/2" (8–12 mm) glass, each hinge set supports up to 80 lbs. (36 kg) with a maximum door width of 28" (711 mm). Using three hinges supports up to 120 lbs. (54 kg) with a maximum door width of 32" (813 mm).
