The CRL Geneva Series professional hinge (SKU: GEN044PN) fits 5/16" (8 mm) to 1/2" (12 mm) tempered safety glass and is offered in six styles—three wall-mount and three glass-to-glass—providing design flexibility for frameless glass shower doors. Geneva Hinges are solid brass with stainless steel pins and springs and feature a reversible 5° pivot pin for self-centering closure; custom pivot pins are available for off-angle installations.

Each Geneva Hinge contains a reversible pivot pin marked 90° on one side and 85° on the other. Standard models ship with the 90° side active; Pre-Set models are shipped with the 85° side activated for a tighter 5° closure into the shower interior. The pivot pin can be rotated to switch sides (do not flip upside down).

Custom Pivot Pin: Cat. No. GENP1N custom pivot pins are available to specify non-standard angles up to 45° for off-angle door installations. Using a Custom Pivot Pin may affect glass dimensions and enclosure aesthetics—contact Technical Sales Shower Door Department for assistance.

Using two hinges with 8–12 mm glass, each hinge set supports up to 80 lbs (36 kg) with a maximum door width of 28" (711 mm). Using three hinges supports up to 120 lbs (54 kg) with a maximum door width of 32" (813 mm).
